g. MCPIKE—Have the ship registers been preserved, of arrivals of emigrants at port of Baltimore, Maryland, circa 1772, from Dublin, Ireland, and London, England? My ancestor, James McPike, of Scotch parentage, is said to have migrated from Dublin to Baltimore in 1772. His son, John McPike, was born at Wheeling, W. Va., 4th or 5th February, 1795. Is there any local evidence of that fact which is recorded in family Bible records?
