TOMMY TUCKER.
This is Tommy Tucker,
Whose mouth was in a pucker,
Crying for his supper,
A little while ago.
But, now that Tommy Tucker
Has had a hearty supper,
He looks as bright and happy
As any boy I know.

DAME TROTT AND HER SON.
| In this little house lives good Dame Trott, who keeps eggs and milk for sale. She has two cows and a flock of hens. Her son John helps her to take care of them. He is a very good boy. | |
| John is just ten years old.
He goes to school.
When the school
is done for the day,
he goes out to the
field to drive home
the cows. Here
you may see him on a fence at
the end of the lane. He wears
a queer sort of frock.
