Hound's"-tongue`, n. Etym: [AS. hundes tunge.] (Bot.)
Defn: A biennial weed (Cynoglossum officinale), with soft tongue- shaped leaves, and an offensive odor. It bears nutlets covered with barbed or hooked prickles. Called also dog's-tongue.
