LIGHT YEAR
Light year. (Astron.)
Defn: The distance over which light can travel in a year's time; — used as a unit in expressing stellar distances. It is more than 63,000 times as great as the distance from the earth to the sun.

Defn: Made of wood; consisting of wood; of the nature of, or
resembling, wood; woody.
It should be tried with shoots of vines and roots of red roses; for
it may be they, being of a moreligneous nature, will incorporate with
the tree itself. Bacon.
