SPONGY
Spon"gy, a.
1. Soft, and full of cavities; of an open, loose, pliable texture; as, a spongy excrescence; spongy earth; spongy cake; spongy bones.
2. Wet; drenched; soaked and soft, like sponge; rainy. "Spongy April." Shak.
