Feb. 14th. Brig “James,” of Yarmouth, lost off the coast of Scotland.

March 7th. A tremendous hurricane, and the streets and rows were strewn with débris from the roofs of houses, to which much damage was done.

Sept. 25th. Arthur Beevor, Esq. died, aged 82 years.
