She spoke to Joseph without delay;
Get you ready, we must away,
We should be gone, ’tis more than time.
All the angels of the kingdom of Heaven,
And all the clergy of the earth,
They all delighted were and glad!
Jesus Christ of Nazareth,
He is born of a maiden pure,
