Till C. R. Miller, 27 Wand St., N. Y.

Clerk.

29 Grove St., St. Louis, Mo., Nov. 16, 1894.

Mr. Fred. Clark.

Sir: I see by this day’s Chronicle that you are in want of a competent clerk, and I respectfully apply for the position. Owing to the financial difficulties of my late employers, Messrs. Mott & Lee, with whom I was clerk for eight years, I am out of employment. I can refer to either of those gentlemen for a testimonial as to my industry, good conduct and ability. I may add that I am a teetotaler.

Hoping to receive a favorable reply,

I am, respectfully,

James Franson.

Kontoristbefattning.
