Anton Strashimirov (Bulgarian: Антон Страшимиров) (Varna, 15 June 1872 – Vienna, 7 December 1937) was a Bulgarian author.

Anton Tomaž Linhart

Anton Tomaž Linhart was a Carniolan playwright and historian, best known as the author of the first comedy and theatrical play in general in Slovene, Županova Micka. He is also considered the father of Slovene historiography, since he was the first historian to write a history of all Slovenes as a unit, rejecting the previous concept which focused on single historical provinces. He was the first one to define the Slovenes as a separate ethnic group and set the foundations of Slovene ethnography.

Anton Wilhelm Florentin von Zuccalmaglio was a German dialectologist, folklorist, folk-song collector, poet, and composer. Born in Waldbröl, he was one of six children born to politician and jurist Jakob Salentin von Zuccalmaglio and Clara Deycks. His brother Vinzenz Jakob von Zuccalmaglio was a successful writer and poet. The Von Zuccalmaglio family traced its ancestry to Italians who had settled in the Catholic Rhineland region of Germany in centuries past.

Antoni Gołubiew

Antoni Gołubiew, nicknames Goa, Jan Karol Wayda, Jerzy Cichocki, was a Polish historian, writer and a Catholic publicist. He was one of the cofounders of the pre World War II biweekly Pax. After the war he wrote for the magazines Znak, Odra, and Tygodnik Powszechny. He was also one of the organizers of the poetry group Zagary. He is best known as the author of the four volume historical epic Bolesław Chrobry which was written over the whole lifetime of the author. This epic tells the story of the founding and first years of existence of the Polish state.
