Friedrich "Fritz" Georg Jünger was a German writer and lawyer. He wrote poetry, cultural criticism and novels. He was the younger brother of Ernst Jünger.

Friedrich Glauser

Friedrich Glauser was a German-language Swiss writer. He was a morphine and opium addict for most of his life. In his first novel Gourrama, written between 1928 and 1930, he treated his own experiences at the French Foreign Legion. The evening before his wedding day, he suffered a stroke caused by cerebral infarction, and died two days later. Friedrich Glauser's literary estate is archived in the Swiss Literary Archives in Bern.

Friedrich Gotthilf Osann

Friedrich Gotthilf Osann was a German classical philologist. He was a brother to physician Emil Osann (1787–1842) and chemist Gottfried Osann (1796–1866). He received his education at the Universities of Jena and Berlin, where he was a student of August Boeckh. In 1816 he obtained his PhD, and during the following year undertook an educational journey through Germany, France, Italy and England. In 1821 he was appointed an associate professor of philology at Jena, followed by a full professorship at the University of Giessen in 1825.

Friedrich Gottlieb Klopstock

Friedrich Gottlieb Klopstock was a German poet. His best known works are the epic poem Der Messias and the poem Die Auferstehung, that was used for Gustav Mahler's epic apocalyptic final movement of his Symphony no. 2. One of his major contributions to German literature was to open it up to exploration outside of French models.
