József Kiss (30 November 1843, Mezőcsát - 31 December 1921, Budapest) was a Hungarian poet and editor.

Juan Abad was a Filipino printer, playwright, and journalist. His main contribution to Filipino theatre was his patriotic plays: the zarzuela Ang Tanikalang Guinto, and Isang Punglo ng Kaaway, the former which, caused his arrest and trial. Some authors credit Abad with the introduction of symbolism to Tagalog drama, a claim which is still to be proven; although he may have been one of the first Tagalog dramatists to use symbolism in their plays.

Juan Bonilla is a Spanish writer. He was born in Jerez de la Frontera. He has published several collections of short stories, including Tanta gente sola (Seix Barral, 2009), and Una manada de ñus(Pre-Textos, 2013). As a novelist, his notable works include Nadie conoce a nadie, which was turned into a successful film by Mateo Gil, and Los príncipes nubios, which won the Premio Biblioteca Breve in 2003. Los príncipes nubios has also been translated into several languages; the French version won the Prix littéraire des Jeunes européens in 2009.

Juan Carlos Da Costa (1944—1976) was a Paraguayan writer, politician, activist, and leader of the clandestine Political Military Organization (OPM), created in the mid 1970s against General Alfredo Stroessner's dictatorship. He died fighting the police on 3 April 1976.
