What, Sir? Me, Sir?
One player says to another:
“Mr. Brown, I saw you on Broadway.”
Whereupon Mr. Brown says:
“What, sir? Me, sir?”
The other replies:
“Yes, sir; you, sir.”
“Oh! no, sir, not I, sir.”
“Who then, sir?”
“Mr. Smith, sir.”
Mr. Smith immediately replies:
“What, sir? Me, sir?”
And so on till each is mentioned in turn. Those who miss must pay a forfeit. At the end of the game all the forfeits are redeemed.
