390. Half a pound of butter,
Half a pound of sugar,
One pound of flour,
Three eggs,
Milk enough to form a dough.
Beat the butter and sugar together. Whisk the eggs light and add them, then stir in the milk and flour alternately, so as to form a dough.
Roll it out, cut it in cakes, and bake them in a moderate oven.
