LEMON SAUCE
- 2 cups hot water,
- 1 cup sugar,
- 1 lemon rind and juice,
- 2 tablespoonfuls corn starch,
- 2 tablespoonfuls butter.
Mix the sugar and corn starch, add the boiling water gradually, stirring all the time. Cook 8 or 10 minutes, add lemon juice and butter. Serve hot.
