Brown Bread
| 1 cup sweet milk ½ cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon salt Graham flour to make a stiff batter 1 cup sour milk ½ cup molasses 1 small teaspoon baking soda |
Bake 1 hour and a quarter in a moderate oven. Stir in soda, dissolved, last thing, beating well. This makes 2 small loaves.
