PLURIEL DES NOMS
- trois sous de pain, three cents' worth of bread.
- un bateau sur le canal, a boat on the canal.
- une voix d'enfant, a child's voice.
1. Sous est le pluriel du nom sou. Nous formons le pluriel des noms terminés par ou en ajoutant s au singulier, mais les mots suivants prennent un x au pluriel: les bijoux, les cailloux, etc.

2. Bateau est un nom singulier. Nous formons le pluriel des noms terminés par eau et aussi par eu en ajoutant x au singulier:

3. Canal est un nom singulier. Nous formons le pluriel des noms terminés par al en changeant al en aux:

- Mais bal et carnaval prennent un s:

4. Voix est un nom singulier. Les noms terminés par s, x ou z ne changent pas au pluriel:
