My new costume was superb. My stockings were red and my sack-coat was blue. The dogs were preparing the little play with their old master. Vitalis was always good to his dogs. Our play was very amusing. Here is the title: "The Servant of Mr. Joli-Cœur." Our comedians were the three dogs, the monkey, and a young peasant called Remi. Capi is a servant. The monkey is his master. Remi leaves his house to enter the service of the monkey.
