V. Thème
The cities which our friends visited were fairy-like. Remi liked the large ships and (the) beautiful rivers which they crossed. These artists, who always traveled at random, spent several days in the large villages and gave two performances a day. All the plays which were in their stock of plays were (some) comedies. They went still farther into the South of France and arrived at Pau, which is at the foot of the Pyrenees. The master, whom Remi loved now, was always good and kind.
