John Peacocke Sollicitor to the Adventurers of Canada make oath, That according to a Report of his Majesties Attorney Generall, he this deponent repaired to the house of Morrice Thomson merchant the third of this present moneth of September and then and there demaunded of the said Morrice Thomson the somme of Fowre hundred markes to and for the use of the said Adventurers of Canada. The Answer of the said Tomson to this depont was, he owed the Adventurers nothing nor nothing would pay.
