To the right honoble the Lords and others of his Majesties most honoble privy Counsell.
The humble petition of the Adventurers to Canada.
Humbly shewing.
That according to your Lopps. order of the 25th of July last to Mr. Attorney Generall he made his reporte and therein awarded Morrice Thomson to paie to your petrs Fower hundred markes which hath beene demaunded as appeares by affidavit hereunto annexed, which he refuseth to pay and Captaine Eustace Man, Two hundred Poundes, who absents himselfe although they both submitted themselves to this honoble Board as it appeares by the said Order.
The Petitioners humblie desires your Lopps. to take this their Contempt and their former into your Lopps. consideration, as also the great charge your petitioner have bin att in the taking of the Fort of Quebeck and keeping it ever since, and the now delivering it to the French allmost to the Ruyne of their estate. All which wee have done at his Majesties and your Lopps. Comaundes and humblie leave to your grave judgments. And (according to our bounden duties) shall ever praie, etc.
