Chives. Eight chives, flat. Tips beardless, pencil-like and without the blossom.
Pointal. Seed-bud conical, streaked. Shaft thread-shaped, without the blossom, longer than the chives. Summit nearly shield-shaped.
Native of the Cape of Good Hope.
Flowers from May, till August.
