SPECIFIC CHARACTER.

Heath, with crested tips within the blossom, blossoms pitcher-shaped headed terminal and lateral, leaves in threes and ciliated.

DESCRIPTION.

Stem shrubby, branched; the branches obscurely whorled, slender, flexuose, with a rusty brown bark.

Leaves in threes, upright, broad-linear, blunt, near three lines long, minutely ciliated, and furrowed beneath.

Flowers small, chiefly in threes, in terminal and lateral bunches.
