Blossom pitcher-shaped, upwards rose-coloured, with slightly spreading segments.

Chives eight flat threads; tips bearded, without the blossom.

Pointal. Germen turban-shaped; shaft thread-shaped; summit four-cornered.

Native of the Cape of Good Hope.

Flowers from the month of September till February.
