Calyx. Perianthium magnum: foliolis ovatis, acutis, rubris.

Corolla urceolata, rubra, limbo quadrilobo, acuto, sub-reflexo.

Stamina octo capillaria: antheræ muticæ, inclusæ.

Pistillum. German tiaræforme, sulcatum, rubrum, ad basin nectariferum.

Habitat ad Caput Bonæ Spei.

Floret a mense Maio in Augustum.
