Floret a mense Novembris in Junium.

SPECIFIC CHARACTER.

Heath, with beardless tips within the blossom; flowers of an inflated tubular form, hairy, ribbed, and of a transparent white; leaves by fours, prickly; stem slender, harshly haired, and much branched.

DESCRIPTION.

Stem slender, a foot and a half high, and harshly haired; the small and larger branches are numerous, hairy, and flexuose.
