SPECIFIC CHARACTER.

Heath, with beardless tips just without the blossom. Flowers tubular, and curved. Footstalks very short. Leaves by fours. Stem shrubby.

DESCRIPTION.

Stem a foot or more high. The large and small branches are numerous, erect, and spreading.
