Three heaping tablespoonfuls of sifted white sugar.
A tablespoonful of sifted flour.
The grated rinds of three lemons.
The white of one egg well beaten; all mixed.
Drop on buttered paper, and bake in a moderate oven.
Jelly Cake.
Half a pound of sifted white sugar.
Six ounces of butter.
Eight eggs, whites beat to a stiff froth. Yolks beat and strained.
