2 And therefore was remoued farre behind,
Yet were the wals, that did the same vphold,
4 Right firme and strong, though somewhat they declind,
And therein sate an old oldman, halfe blind,
6 And all decrepit in his feeble corse,
Yet liuely vigour rested in his mind,
8 And recompenst him with a better scorse:
