Mercy deare Lord (said he) what grace is this,
2 That thou hast shewed to me sinfull wight,
To send thine Angell from her bowre of blis,
4 To comfort me in my distressed plight?
Angell, or Goddesse do I call thee right?
6 What seruice may I do vnto thee meete,
That hast from darkenesse me returnd to light,
8 And with thy heauenly salues and med'cines sweete,
Hast drest my sinfull wounds? I kisse thy blessed feete.
