With all of God’s promises there are conditions, Here we have one. “If ye abide in me.” Are you abiding in Him?
AND this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
I John 5:14-15.
AND whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.
John 14:13,14.
If you want God’s answer to prayer, remember the conditions.
AND whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
