The Lion attacks, the Jackal makes water.

(5) Qá mil tillu gûṇ kaáṇt, báz mil tillu máséu khánt.

With crow went, ate dung; with eagle went, ate flesh.

i.e. In the company of the crow you will learn to eat dung and in that of the eagle, you will eat flesh.

(6) Taṇgá gatam karé rupaé balyúṇ.

A penny, for collecting went, lost rupee.

(7) Aíṇ tale kaṇwalé déthé, mazé háṛ shárá túṇ.

Big mouth flattery does, inwardly (in mind) breaks bones.

(8) Dúṇí lawáṇo karú márch.
