℞.	Yellow wax,	25 ℔.
	Turpentine, colophane,[J] resin, a.a.	3 ℔.
	Ship-pitch,	2 1/2 ℔.
	Verdegris,	1 ℔.
	Incense, fluid styrax, a.a.	2 ℔.
	Oil of spike,	1 1/2 ℔.

Melt, and mix the whole with two pounds of mutton suet, and plunge the linen in it as before.

3.—Another.

℞.	New wax,	4 ℔.
	Resin of pine, turpentine, a.a.	8 ℔.
	Gum Arabic,	8 ℥.

Melt, and soak as before.

4.—Another.

℞.	Turpentine,	3 ℔.
	Wax,	15 ℔.

Mix it with a sufficient quantity of oil to make a cerate.

1.—Mixture for soaking the linens, the chemise, the coiffure, and the bandages.
