All nouns in Bohemian belong to either the masculine, feminine or neuter gender. Jsou buď rodu mužského, ženského nebo středního. This distinction is called grammatical gender.—Nouns ending in the nominative singular in a are of feminine gender.
Declension of the feminine nouns ending in -a.
