Z, (ze), out of, from something. Ze železa. Made of iron. But:
- Z bídy. On account of poverty.
- Z jara. In the beginning of the Spring.
- Z kapsy. Out of the pocket.
- Z Prahy. From Prague.
Prepositions with the dative.
K, ke, ku, to, towards. Jdu k bratrovi. I go to my brother. Ke druhé hodině. Around (toward) two o’clock.
Proti against. Proti nepříteli. Against the enemy.
