Note that if among these irregulars, I haue omitted any, you may be resolued of them in looking but the Infinitiue moode in my Dictionary.
I haue not set downe the Presentence of the Optatiue and Subiunctiue moode as being all one, because they may all be framed by one rule, which is by changing the last, O, of the first person singular of the Presentence of the Indicatiue moode into, A, and then you haue all the three persons singular of the said Presentence of the Optatiue and Subiunctiue, to frame the first plurall change the A, of one of the singular into, I, and adde, Amo, to the same, to frame the second plurall, doe the like and ioyne, Ate, vnto it, and to frame the third plurall, adde, No, vnto any of the said three persons singular, as for example. O che io cáda, tù cáda, lúi cáda, Nói cadiámo, vói cadiáte, loro cadáno; and so of all the rest, as well of the second as of the third Coniugations.
Of the irregular verbes of the fourth Coniugation.
The chiefest irregular verbes of the fourth Coniugation are, Apríre, Conuertíre, Copríre, Díre, Gíre, Instruíre, Ire, Moríre, Offríre or Offeríre, Salíre, Sofferíre or Soffríre, Vdíre, Veníre, and Vscíre.
All which varie onely in the Present tence, and first Preterperfect tence of the Indicatiue moode, and in the Presentence of the Optatiue, and Subiunctiue moode, and in the Participles. All other tences are regular, and knowing the Infinitiue moode, you may easily frame them by Dormíre.
