Men parcel the hills in the taro patch;
They parcel the clumps in the taro ditch:
The land goes free, the children secure;
Unvexed be the people; the waters run free;
Food-bundles shall bulk in the patch;
Kuli-pe’e shall keep to the Pit;
The princes of clamor shall fly away.
