This sketch shows a mantel in a corner of a room. The mosaic ornamentation above the shelf should be in two colors or shades of the same color. The wooden cornice forms a soffit, which should be panelled.

Price of red face and moulded bricks, with the darker mosaic the color of the bricks and the lighter mosaic a much lighter shade of red, including the hearth, fire-back, under-fire and tile shelf, $57.
