Flesh: yellowish or red-brown in the stem.
Spore-print: purple-brown.
Spores: long, dark purple-brown, broadly ellipsoid and 12-15 × 7-9 µm in size.
Marginal cystidia: cylindrical or flask-shaped.
Facial cystidia: flask-shaped and filled with contents which become yellowish in solutions containing ammonia.
