Refrigerate until used.

Celery seed dressing

About 1 cup

⅓ cup sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon tarragon vinegar
1½ teaspoons salt
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon celery seed
⅔ cup salad oil

Thoroughly mix all ingredients except salad oil.

Add the oil slowly while beating constantly with rotary or electric beater.

Refrigerate until used.

Thousand island dressing

About 2 cups

1 cup mayonnaise
¼ cup sweet pickle relish
2 tablespoons chili sauce
1 tablespoon chopped green pepper
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
1 hard-cooked egg, finely chopped
