Stewed okra and tomatoes

1 small onion, chopped
2 tablespoons fat or oil
1 package (10 ounces) frozen okra
1 can (1 pound) tomatoes
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
Cook onion in fat in saucepan over moderate heat until lightly browned.
Add remaining ingredients and cook until okra is tender and mixture thickens, 10 to 15 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Quick cauliflower au gratin
6 servings
2 packages (10 ounces each) frozen cauliflower
1 can (10½ ounces) condensed Cheddar cheese soup
2 tablespoons fine dry breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon melted butter or margarine
Cook frozen cauliflower according to package directions.
