Baked apples

6 baking apples (See table, [p. 4].)

½ cup honey or sugar

½ cup raisins, if desired

½ teaspoon cinnamon

½ teaspoon nutmeg

1 tablespoon butter or margarine

1 cup water

Core apples without cutting through the bottom end. Peel about one-third of the way down. Place in baking dish.
