Word of God! Thy Crucifixion

Hath upraised me from the earth;

By Thy death and dereliction,

Thou hast given me nobler birth;

By Thy Resurrection glorious,

Life immortal now I own,—

Hence ascend my songs victorious

To Thy praise, O Christ the Son.
