Notwithstanding Pryce’s efforts, not one of the persons named in this letter was actually elected, the knights returned for Norfolk in 1455 being the Duke of Norfolk’s nominees, Sir Roger Chamberlain and John Howard.—See [Nos. 294] and [295] following.
