Georgian.
Caucasian: a family of languages spoken in several dialects, generally classed as Turanian, but mingled with Aryan. The main language is the vernacular speech of Georgia, a Russian province lying between the Caspian and the Black Seas, which answers to the ancient Iberia. The characters of its written alphabet are altered from the Armenian, which people still call the Georgians by the name of “Virb.” See Tschoubinof: “Dict.
