FAMILY POETRY.

—Modo sumptâ veste virili!—HOR.

Zooks! I must woo the Muse to-day,

Though line before I’d never wrote!

Button’d up high about the throat,

But easy, flowing, debonair—

In short a civil long-tail’d Coat.
