V. Thème
We gave performances in all the small cities. Everybody liked them. One day we entered a farmyard where there were many men and women. It was a wedding. They requested me to play a waltz. We played several dances and the host invited us to dinner. We left him and continued our journey with more courage. When we crossed a river or a canal, Remi looked for Madam Milligan; he hoped to find her.
