Les éditions de Burns sont très nombreuses. Dans son Burns Calendar, Mac Kie en donne une liste, jusqu'à 1874, qui en comprend 403. Il faudrait sans doute en ajouter une cinquantaine pour compléter le chiffre jusqu'aujourd'hui. Il ne saurait être question de reproduire ces nomenclatures. Nous nous contenterons d'indiquer les principales éditions de Burns, celles qui ont un intérêt particulier, parce qu'elles contiennent quelques renseignements nouveaux sur lui.
