Plain Plum Cake.
- Ingredients—1 lb. of flour.
- ¼ lb. of dripping.
- ¼ lb. of currants.
- ½ pint of milk.
- ¼ lb. of sugar.
- 2 teaspoonfuls of baking powder.
Method.—Rub the dripping into the flour.
Add the other dry ingredients.
Mix with the milk.
Bake in a well-greased cake-tin for about one hour and a quarter.
