1½ pounds ground veal
½ pound ground pork
2 tablespoons minced onion
2 carrots, ground
1½ teaspoons salt
⅛ teaspoon pepper
½ cup sour cream
Flour
Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Pack into a 5 × 9-inch loaf pan and bake in a moderate oven (350° F.) 1½ hours. Thicken drippings for gravy, allowing 2 tablespoons flour for each cup of drippings. 6 to 8 servings.
