DELICATE SPICE COOKIES
- 1 C sugar, white or brown
- ¾ C shortening
- 1 egg
- 2 C flour
- 2 t soda
- 1 t salt
- 4 T molasses
- ½ t cinnamon
- ¼ t ginger
- ¼ t cloves
Put ingredients together in the order given. Mix thoroughly. Pinch off pieces of dough the size of a marble. Roll in granulated sugar. Bake at 350°, 12-15 minutes.
